Course Description
Accounting
This course is a challenging one-year taught programme aimed at preparing business graduates for entry into the accountancy profession. The programme earns generous exemptions from Chartered Accountants Ireland, in that they gain exemption from the CAP 2 series of examinations.
There will be a relatively small number of students on the programme. This will enable you to gain outstanding support from lecturers. Full time study enables you to develop a real depth of knowledge without the pressure of work.
If you have a degree in accounting or a general business with an accounting specialisation and would like to pursue a career in accounting, then this programme has been designed with you in mind.

| Carear Path | Most of our graduates initially pursue a career in an accounting practice rather than industry. The majority gain employment with the Big 4 firms. The vast majority qualify as accountants within 2 years upon graduation and can expect to rise to more senior executive level, in private industry, in the public and private sectors, and in education.
