The balance between accessing AI opportunities and understanding the risks is challenging in all sectors. Within the HEI sector the IUA Expert Group, and the Universities Risk Management Group, will host in Trinity College Dublin an AI focussed event that will discuss the current environment faced by Universities, the EU AI Act 2024, and the innovation and potential future of AI for students, staff, and stakeholders. The conference is entitled ‘Embracing the Opportunity and Threat of AI within our Universities’ on the 19th of November from 10 am to 2 pm in the Graduate Memorial Building.
