Post Graduate courses by Irish Institute of Legal Executives (IILEX)
The Irish Institute of Legal Executives (IILEX) is a professional body representing registered legal executives in Ireland.
Education
IILEX courses provide students with an academic grounding in core legal subjects. However, they also focus on the practical application of legal principles in the work environment.
The Institute, in conjunction with Griffith College, has developed a course specifically for the Legal Executive. Therefore, the Diploma in Legal Studies & Practice gives legal executives the necessary academic and practical skills for the legal office.
Past graduates, members of the IILEX legal academic team and employers in legal practice in addition to the Irish Institute of Legal Executives helped to design this diploma programme.
The majority of students complete the Diploma in Legal Studies and Practice in one academic year. Graduates may also enter the second year of the LLB (Hons) in Irish Law degree in Griffith College Cork or Dublin.
