The Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics at University College Cork has announced that applications are now open for the Irish Research Council (IRC) Postgraduate Scholarship Programme for 2024.

The IRC Postgraduate Scholarship Programme is a highly competitive opportunity for aspiring researchers to pursue their postgraduate studies in Ireland. With an average success rate of 18% over the past five years, securing a scholarship requires a strong application and careful planning.

What the Fellowship Offers:

  • Stipend: €22,000 per annum
  • Fee Contribution: Up to €5,750 per annum
  • Research Expenses: Up to €3,250 per annum
