Number of Post-graduate Researchers Rising: This year’s report includes the finding that the total number of post-graduate researchers rose from 9,802 in 2016 to 11,755 in 2021. Of these figures, 6,382 (55%) were female. These figures are made up of PhD and Research Masters, full and part-time.
