The Centre for Gerontology and Rehabilitation at UCD is currently recruiting a Research Assistant to work on the ‘Establishing student cohorts and learning needs for an online European Master on Active Ageing and Age Friendly Society’ project. The successful applicant will work as part of a team in the Centre for Gerontology and Rehabilitation with the Principal Investigator (PI), guided by the wider international team.
The Centre are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated person with high levels of initiative, capable of working independently or within a team. The candidate should have excellent communication, organisational, planning and interpersonal skills. The candidate will require prior experience in performing scoping and systematic reviews, with evidence of strong academic writing skills. Ideally the candidate will have experience in mixed methods research, and proficiency in quantitative data analysis. Knowledge of the topic of active ageing is also ideal.
The Research Assistant may also be required to work across other projects within the centre, as directed by the PI, requiring flexibility and ability to manage their time accordingly.

Post Duration: 18 Months
Salary: €23,061 – €35,922 p.a. (IUA Salary Scale)
