The nine Taught Masters Degrees on offer cover a wide range of specialist areas of law for graduates to choose from (click on links below to download a brochure for each programme). The Masters in Common Law is a conversion qualification for those who have completed an undergraduate degree in a subject area other than law and wish to attain a qualification to pursue a legal career. The MSc in Criminology is also open to non-law graduates and the MSc in International Law and Business is open to business or economics graduates as well as law.

This option offers the possibility of obtaining an LLM in a specific area of law under the expert supervision of one of the faculty of the Sutherland School of Law. The School has the largest group of academic lawyers in Ireland and leading researchers of high international standing across many of the main fields of law including European Union law, commercial law, criminology, criminal justice and criminal law, regulatory studies, constitutional law and governance, human rights, administrative law, employment law, environmental law, intellectual property law, WTO law, legal history, agricultural law and private law.
